| TANGENT uses dtSearch for natural language
query Web site.
TANGENT created an Internet site with a “natural
language” search engine for a major health
care company with registered users numbering in
the millions. TANGENT’s concept was to allow
users to simply phrase a question as they would
normally ask a nurse or physician and retrieve
highly relevant links to information throughout
the site. After querying an SQL database, the
system comes back with a list of possible diagnoses.
“dtSearch was chosen for its English
language query capabilities, extensibility, reliability,
speed of sorting through indexes and its relevancy
adjustment flexibility.”
