dtSearch Adds Basis Technology API Support for Enhanced Chinese, Japanese and Korean Language Text Retrieval

New Integration Adds API Access to Basis Technology’s Rosette® Language Analyzers through the dtSearch Text Retrieval Engine, Providing Morphological Analysis for Asian and Other International Language Text.

BETHESDA, MD (October 29, 2003) dtSearch Corp., a leading supplier of end-user, enterprise and developer text retrieval software, today announced it has worked with Basis Technology, a leading provider of products and services for software globalization and multilingual data management, to integrate the dtSearch Text Retrieval Engine with Basis Technology’s Rosette Language Analyzers.

Rosette Language Analyzers.
The Rosette Language Analyzers are part of the Rosette Globalization Platform, Basis Technology’s suite of interoperable products designed for applications that analyze and process all the world’s languages. The dtSearch Engine, which provides the API access to the Rosette Language Analyzers, lets developers add dtSearch text searching and built-in file format support to Web-based and other applications. The product includes support for SQL, Delphi, Java, C++, C++.NET, C#, VB.NET, and ASP.NET. The dtSearch Engine comes in two versions, one for Win & .NET, and one for Linux (for Java and C++ programmers).
